1. Agreement
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who can use the app
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Apple account secure.
3. Estimates, not medical advice
The app gives estimates of calories and nutrients from photos and the details you enter. Estimates can be wrong, sometimes by a lot. The app does not give medical, dietary or health advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or dietitian. Talk to a health professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.
4. Subscriptions
Paid plans are not live yet. When they launch, these terms apply:
- Scanning meals needs an active subscription. New subscribers may get a free trial; the length and price are shown before you subscribe.
- Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
5. Fair use
Please do not misuse the app. That includes trying to access other people's data, getting around limits such as the daily scan limit, uploading photos that are illegal or that you do not have the right to use, or interfering with the app's systems.
6. Your content
Your photos and meal data belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you, including sending meal photos to our AI provider for analysis.
7. Changes and availability
We may update the app, change features, or stop offering it. We will try to give notice of major changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on its estimates. Laws in your country may give you rights that cannot be excluded, and nothing in these terms limits those rights.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
